GAMEPLAY TRAINING - Base Program

Our Experience Gameplay Training program focuses on improving each athlete's ability to impact the game by applying targeted training methods in real-game scenarios. Through 3v3 and 5v5 small-sided gameplay models, athletes integrate key skills from our sessions into their playing style. This approach maximizes time in high-pressure moments, helping athletes build awareness and develop solutions to the game's most challenging situations, without the pressure of a team or league environment.

Focused Small Sided Games with Purpose

  • Engage in dynamic 3v3 and 5v5 small-sided games.

  • Athletes are placed on new teams each week based on ability, creating competitive games and encouraging adaptation to new teammates and opponents.

  • Coaches provide in-game, real-time individual feedback.

  • This program follows our 48-week custom curriculum, designed to develop confident and proficient soccer players through challenging situations.

TECHNICAL

SKILL DEVELOPMENT - Group Training Program


Our Technical Skill Development program is designed for athletes seeking extra training beyond their Experience Gameplay sessions. This program focuses on improving performance through detailed feedback from coaches and breaking down game concepts for a deeper understanding. 

 

Using 1v1 and 2v2 training models, athletes get more time on the ball in high-pressure situations, improving decision-making and technical skills in challenging areas of the game. We place athletes in specific scenarios to build confidence and develop strategies for competitive success. We encourage them to apply these skills into their Experience Gameplay sessions to integrate what they've learned into their personal style of play.

Position Specific Training

  • Field players learn and compete in 1v1 and 2v2 training models, focusing on technical and tactical aspects of the game to become more effective and efficient as individuals.

Individual Performance

  • High-pressure training sessions emphasize technique and decision-making in attacking, defending, and transitions.

  • Athletes train in groups based on their ability.

  • This program follows our 48-week custom curriculum, focusing on the individual athlete rather than the team structure of 3v3 and 5v5.

GOALKEEPER
TRAINING

Group Training Program

 

Our Goalkeeper Development program is designed for athletes seeking additional training beyond their Experience Gameplay sessions. Goalkeepers train in high-pressure situations to maximize repetitions and simulate the fast-paced, real-game environments they will encounter. We focus on reinforcing proper techniques and decision-making to improve safety and success, preparing goalkeepers for the demanding action of each Shock session.

 

This program focuses on real-game scenarios, providing targeted coaching on play development and disrupting attacking sequences. We train goalkeepers using shot locations, ball placement, and trajectory to teach the most effective techniques in each situation.

 

We limit isolated repetitions, ensuring every exercise applies directly to live play. Goalkeepers will develop proper positioning, react decisively to shots or entry balls, and initiate counterattacks immediately after making saves. This program is ideal for goalkeepers looking to sharpen their instincts, improve their game, and stay composed under pressure.

ADVANCED

Skill Development - Small Group Training

Advanced Skill Development is a private small-group training program exclusively led by Kyle, the owner and director, offering a "Master Class" level of instruction. Each session is designed specifically for committed athletes and is NOT for casual participants.

 

This is an intensive, focused training experience designed for athletes committed to seeing consistent, accelerated growth. This hour-long session pushes athletes to increase their speed of play and decision-making and challenges players to refine their skills in a game-paced training environment.

Directly connected to the CORE Training curriculum, the program focuses on ball mastery and decision-making strategies that reinforce transitions and attacking patterns of play. Each session supports the monthly training units while introducing techniques that demand precision and adaptability under pressure.

Requirements to Attend

Athletes who regularly participate in our Experience Gameplay Training and Technical Skill Development Programs can attend our small group training events with our most dedicated athletes.

PRIVATE

Custom Training Event - Limited Access

 

We offer private training to members who need additional support or are preparing for upcoming events such as the Vermont Olympic Development Program, college recruiting (showcases, ID camps or clinics, tournaments), and club or school team tryouts.

  • Customized training plans based on athlete needs.

  • Flexible training model tailored to be most effective, including 1-on-1, small group, position-specific training, and more options.
