JEFFERSON HALES

Director of Goalkeeper Development

Jefferson specializes in breaking down technical and physical aspects for both field players and goalkeepers, he has over 10 years of experience coaching club teams, as well as over 6 years of college coaching. Jefferson focuses on improving the physical performance of athletes by teaching proper mechanics for plyometrics, speed and kinesthetic training.

In addition to Shock Sports, Jefferson is a head coach of the U16 girls team at a local soccer club, He also is on the coaching staff at Saint Michael’s College working with the women’s soccer team.

 

Prior to Shock Sports Jefferson was heavily involved in youth training programs, as well as focusing on individual player development while working privately with Goalkeepers and Field Players.

 

Jefferson holds a USSF D License and has completed the NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 1 & 2 Diploma.

 

Originally from New Jersey, Jefferson played soccer and basketball through high school, he then went on to play soccer at Johnson State College (now NVU -J). He received multiple achievements for his performance in high school: Conference All-Star Team (soccer & Basketball), All-New England All-Star Team (Soccer). In college he was a 4 year starter playing defense, striker and goalkeeper.
